John Williamson

John commenced law in Central Otago in 1977 after graduation from Otago University and became a partner in 1980.

John enjoys the outdoors and participates in events such as the Goldrush Multisport Event and the Contact Lake Hawea Mountainbike race. He and his family are keen skiers, mountainbikers, kayakers, boaties and trampers. When John can be persuaded to leave the office for long enough he enjoys tramping too.

John maintains a general law practice with a specialist interest in the fields of irrigation, pastoral leases and dispute resolution, companies, commercial law, farming and irrigation resource law.
