Karin Hamilton

Karin comes from a southern farming background and after traveling overseas for a few years Karin returned to New Zealand and settled in Arrowtown.

While Karin raised two sons, she spent a number of years managing the Wakatipu Victim Support and working within the wider community as a volunteer on many committees and groups.

As a result of this experience Karin moved to Dunedin and completed a law degree at Otago University and following her admission to the bar, Karin and her partner travelled the coast line of New Zealand fishing and sight seeing.

Karin has now joined Checketts McKay as a Staff Solicitor
